It was such an honor to win the Youth Environmental Excellence Award from Sea World and Busch Gardens! Not only did I get to meet other fellow youth environmentalists, but the team at Sea World organized the most amazing behind-the-scenes weekend for us! They even arranged for me to see and pet the penguins! This, of course, strengthened my love for these adorable birds. It was such a great feeling to finally come into contact with the animals that I have loved since I was 4 years old! This award means so much and I will continue to do the work that I feel so passionately about.
